Dear Danielle and Alex,
We are heartbroken over learning of Ritchie's passing. Although we became newer friends of your family in upstate N.Y., from the first moment Ritchie encountered us we felt a close bond.
Though our time with him was brief, we knew him as a very special person...as we feel for both of you.
Unfortunately, I ( Diane) am still in Bangkok and won't be back until months end. I know Bill has been in touch and we intend to do whatever we can for you. I only wish I was there to give you a big hug. Be strong, we love you, and rest in peace dear Ritchie.
