Mr. Barron was my favorite teacher throughout my school career at Shenendehowa. I had him for 9th grade global studies, which at the time was known as Koda Junior High. I would leave my study hall to go down and visit with him whenever I could. I respected him so much. He was a fantastic teacher, had a great sense of humor and was always willing to help. I was a member of the drama club and I begged him to come to the show. Opening night, he was there, I never forgot that. I wish you all peace and comfort during this difficult time. I will always carry great memories of Mr. Barron with me.
Sincerely;
Preston Sweeney

Sandi and family,
My deepest and sincere condolences. Chuck was my favorite teacher I ever had. He was always there if I needed help with anything. I can say that his words of wisdom were always ones I cherished. He was the type of teacher I aspired to be when I got older. Now as a teacher myself I think of his words often. He was an amazing man. I also got to know him outside of the classroom and he was such an influential person inside the classrooom and outside. He will be surely missed by all. I can also remember he was the only person who would always call me Rebekka instead of Bekky.
Sincerely,
Rebekka LaDuke

I am so sorry to hear the news about Charlie. He was my Social Studies teacher at Shen and he was so awesome! I now teach at Shen and my room is almost across the hall from where I had Charlie's class. I always loved his sense of humor!!
Please accept my most sincere condolences.

I am one of Charlie's Angels from when he taught in Gowana on Team 7-2. There were three of us, Cheryl Hacker, Beth Coulter, and me. We lovingly called ourselves "Charlie's Angels". He loved us, cared for us, and watched out for us. He was passionate, kind, loving, funny, and humble.... a true gentleman. I will miss you Charlie. Sandi and family, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

A big smile from a tall guy who loved kids, social studies, and his colleagues. In the days of team teaching, he was right there making big plans. In the days of telling jokes in the faculty room before rushing off to class, he was there. He will always be there in our memories as he joins the angels and the saints.
