Jane A. Printsky, 86, of Troy, beloved wife of Louis Printsky, passed away surrounded by her loving family at Samaritan Hospital in Troy on Wednesday, November 23, 2016. Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Helen Robertson Knothe. She was educated in the Troy public schools and graduated from Troy High School in 1948. Jane was employed by Marine Midland Bank for many years as a bank teller. She was very active her entire life at Mt. Ida Community Baptist Church where she held many positions over the years. She was also a very talented and accomplished artist and her oil paintings have been enjoyed by all who knew and loved her. She enjoyed gardening, designing flower arrangements, and holiday decorating. Most of all she loved her family and friends. Beloved wife of Louis Printsky of Troy, widow of the late Charles Gibson, devoted mother of Diane (Howard) DeVoid of Wantage, NJ and the late David Gibson who is survived by his wife Anne Gibson of Troy; sister of the late, William Knothe; cherished grandmother of Heather (Ryan) Fischer, Andrew DeVoid and his fiance Alexandria, Todd DeVoid and his fiance Michelle, Charles Gibson, Douglas Gibson and Michael Gibson; great grandmother of Adelaide Fischer. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. A celebration of Jane's life is being planned for the Spring.
