Obituary of Paul F. Salway

Paul F. Salway, 70, of Troy, entered into eternal life on Friday, November 16, 2018.

Born in Troy, he was the son of Arthur J. and Elizabeth P. "Betty" O'Hagan Salway and was educated in the Lansingburgh schools.

Paul was self-employed as a carpenter and had previously been employed with Cahill Construction. He was a skilled craftsman-carpenter, which he was proud of and liked to share that with those he knew. He also enjoyed playing cards.

Father of Paul F. (Stephanie) Salway, Jr. and Joseph (Shayna) Salway, brother of Arlene (Robert) Mosher, Thomas (Marion) Salway, Grace (Jim) Graziane, Brian Salway and the late Gordon Salway, Dorothy Higgitt-Horton, William Salway, Robert Salway who is survived by his wife Jean Salway and the late Arthur Salway,also survived by 5 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and their families.

In keeping with Paul' wishes, his funeral will be private at the convenience of the family and has been entrusted to the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue (Corner of 115th Street in Lansingburgh), Troy, NY 12182.
