Obituary of Frank E. Collins
Frank E. Collins, 44, of Troy, NY, loving fiancé of Ramona L. Ramos, passed in peace on Friday, November 2, 2018.
Born in Troy, he is the son of Kim Collins-Holloway (Tyrone) of Troy and the late Eugene Eason and step-son of Arthur Lewis. Frank was a graduate of Troy High School and attended SUNY Cobleskill. He then enlisted and served in the U.S. Army from May 1994 to May 1997.
Frank loved all sports but especially basketball which he stared in at Troy High and also loved his music.
Frank was recently employed at Surpass Chemical Co. in Menands and had previously been employed at Stone Management in Albany.
In addition to his loving companion "Mona" and beloved mother Kim, Frank is the Dad of Asia Batten, Janae Rodriguez, Frank Collins, Jr., Tavian Collins and Melina Mendez-Ramos, loving dear brother of Florence Evans-Holloway (Daniel Ryan), Keisha Holloway (JR Felder), Addison "Man" Holloway, Melyssa Lewis, Robert E. Collins, Tonya Ward, Natalie Lewis, Taniesga Eason, Damien Lewis, Marquise Eason, Kaylah Jones, Shakil Eason, grandfather of Christian and Denver Smith, also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and his friends. His third grandchild is expected soon. He was predeceased by his grandparents; Frank E. (Dorothy) Collins.
Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours on Monday, November 12, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue (corner of 115th Street in Lansingburgh), Troy, New York 12182. Words of Remembrance and a Prayer will be offered beginning at 4:00 p.m.
