Obituary of Rose A. Strack

     Rose A. Strack, 85, of Country Way, died on Wednesday Sept. 19, 2018 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy.  She was born on Sept. 22, 1932 in Troy and was the daughter of the late Antonio and Carmella Castiglione Mosca.  Rose was educated in the Troy School System and was the beloved wife of the late Eugene Strack who died in 1988.  She had worked for the NYS Dept. of OGS for over 25 years.  She was a member of ROUSE.  She was a communicant of Our Lady of Victory Church in Troy and earlier a communicant of the former St. Patrick’s Church in Troy.

      She is survived by her sister-in-law, Joan Mosca of Fl, and several nieces, nephews and grand nieces and grand nephews.

     She was predeceased by her siblings; James Mosca, Salvatore Mosca, Joseph Mosca, Mary Costa and John Mosca.

     Funeral will be held on Wednesday Sept. 26^th at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Victory Church, 55 N. Lake Avenue Troy, NY 12180 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.

     A calling hour will precede the mass in the church.

     Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Troy.
