Obituary of Wilhelm A. Schoch
Wilhelm A. Schoch, 94, formerly of Rexford, beloved husband of Frances Wadden Schoch, entered into eternal life on Thursday, February 22, 2018.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of the late Emil and Pauline Schmidt Schoch and was a graduate of Brooklyn Tech High School. Mr. Schoch served as a naval aviator in the U.S Navy in World War II
He retired from General Electric in Schenectady as Large Steam Turbine Division Drafting Supervisor.
He was a member of the Apprentice Alumni Association, the GE Quarter Century Club and was a communicant of St. Edward the Confessor Church in Clifton Park, and a longtime member of the Choir.
He is the beloved husband of 66 years of Frances, devoted father of David (Eileen), Michael (Barbara), Paul (Sue), William (Nina) and Timothy (Elaine) Schoch, brother of the late Erica Ochs, also survived by
11 Grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to St. Edward the Confessor Church, 569 Clifton Park Center Rd., Clifton Park, NY 12065 for Wilhelm's Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 28, 2018.
Interment with military honors will follow at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.
Those desiring, may make memorial contributions to St. Edwards Building Fund in c/o St. Edward the Confessor Church 569 Clifton Park Center Road Clifton Park, New York 12065, in memory of Wilhelm A. Schoch.
