She was born in Brooklyn on May 8, 1937 and was the daughter of the late Patrick and Nora Fogarty Doheny.  She was a graduate of James Madison High School in Brooklyn and was the beloved wife of the late Frederick Hohne who died in 2006.  Maureen retired from Allstate Insurance Company in Brooklyn. She was devoted to her large family and especially the children.  She was always a caregiver who enjoyed reading and spending time in the lives of her nieces and nephews. They looked forward to their Aunt’s visit as they knew they would never fall short on laughter. Maureen is described as a beautiful woman with a great attitude, so sweet with a nice dollop of sarcasm. Throughout the years, Maureen enjoyed her trips to Ireland, especially the town of Cashel Ireland, County Tipperary. She had a love for cats and were of great comfort to her.  Maureen had been a communicant of St. Edward the Confessor Church in Clifton Park.
