Obituary of Narinder Chopra

Narinder Chopra, 68, of Squire Lane in Clifton Park, died on Thursday Dec. 7, 2017 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady after a brief illness.  He was born in Punjab, India on June 9, 1949 and was the son of the late Sri Ramchand Chopra and Maya Dai Chopra.  Narinder came to the United States in 2002 and became a citizen.  He is the husband of Usha Manroe Chopra who he married on Sept. 21, 1974.  

He is the father of Niti (Vipan) Matta of Mechanicville, NY, Ritu (Tarun) Gandhi of India, Ria (Rajiv) Lumb of Colonie and Abhishek Chopra of Clifton Park; also survived by a brother and two sisters in India along with 6 grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Saturday at 1:45 pm in the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9 Clifton Park, NY, 12065

Calling hours will be from 5-9 pm Friday in the funeral Home.
