Obituary of Alberta Robinson King

Alberta Robinson King, 52, of Fourth Avenue, Lansingburgh, entered into eternal life on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Albany Medical Center Hospital.Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Roosevelt and Henrietta Rivers Robinson and the wife of the late David C. King. She was educated in the Troy schools.Alberta had been a Home Health Aid for Independent Living in Albany. Alberta loved to shop, travel, read, play games and watch movies.Devoted mother of Alcestis C. King and Millacent Robinson King, sister of Tracey Ann, Cynthia Rene, Steven Lorenzo and Jermaine Lamont Robinson, Mary Lee Pinto and Delores Henderson (Billy) and the late Denise Robinson, also survived by several nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends. She was eagerly anticipating the birth of her first grandchild, Alyius C. King on September 25th.

Funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. from the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 514 Seventh Ave, Troy, NY 12182 where the Rev. Jackie Robinson, Sr., Pastor, will officiate.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Church on Thursday morning from  9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Interment will be held in Elmwood Hill Cemetery, Troy.
