Obituary of Joseph Grande

Joseph Grande, 82, of Mayfield Drive died on Thursday June 22, 2017 at Albany Medical Center Hospital.  He was born on August 11, 1934 in Sicily, Italy and immigrated to the United States at a young age.  Joseph was Korean War Veteran, having served honorably in the US Army.  He retired from Grande Associates Food Brokerage Inc. in Clifton Park as the owner.  Earlier, he had worked for Shop Rite and Stop N Shop.  He was an active communicant of St. Edward the Confessor Church in Clifton Park and was a member of their Knights of Columbus. 

He was the beloved husband of Doris Ann Dibble Grande, whom he married on Jan. 14, 1961.  He is the devoted father of Nick (Joelle) Grande of Clifton Park, Ray (Martha) Grande of VA, Lisa (Dino) Macaluso and Diane (Patrick) McGinn both of Clifton Park; brother of Lillian Barone of Port Jefferson, NY; also survived by 8 adoring grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held Tuesday morning at 10:00 am from St. Edward the Confessor Church in Clifton Park where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.

Calling hours will be from 5-8 pm Monday in the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9 Clifton Park, NY 12065.

Interment with full military honors will be in the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville.
