Monica Ann Rocque Ross

May 18, 1931 – December 6, 2024

Garner, NC – Monica Ann Rocque Ross, 93, passed away in the late hours of Friday,

December 6, 2024.

She was born in Whitehall, New York on May 18, 1931, the daughter of the late Ernest Pierre

Rocque an Edithe May Leddick Rocque.

Monica was an active member of St. Paul The Apostle Church in Troy until its closing.  She

volunteered with the Right to Life Committee and was a Eucharistic Minister at Samaritan

Hospital.  She loved her family and friends and would do anything for them.  Her kind and

generous spirit will live on in our hearts.

In addition to her parents, Monica was preceded in death by her husband, Donald F. Ross,

Sisters, Patricia Cole, Helen Rocque, Mary Fitzpatrick, Frances Stowell; and her brothers,

Ernest Rocque, Raymond Rocque, Charles Rocque, Leo Rocque, and Clifford Rocque.

Monica is survived by her daughter, Michele Doernberg and husband, Steven of Garner NC;

Sons, Don Ross and wife, Paula of Holly Springs, NC; Scott Ross of Troy, NY, and her

two granddaughters, Katie Zimkus (Husband, A.J) and Lauren Ross, and many nieces and

nephews.

The wake and funeral will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at Our Lady Of Victory

Church in Troy, NY.  Viewing hours will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon with the Funeral

Mass of Christian Burial to follow beginning at 12:15 p.m.

Interment will be held in St. Peter's Cemetery, Troy.

& Sanvidge Funeral Home, 312 Hoosick St., Troy, NY 12180.
