Obituary of Herbert A. Hatter

Herbert A. Hatter, 89, of Halfmoon, beloved husband of the late Gwen Chevalier Hatter, passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 in the comfort of his home.

 

Born and educated in Flipin, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Christopher C. and Ethel Allen Hatter and was U.S. Army veteran having served during the Korean War from 1954 to 1956 and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, Marksman (Carbine), Expert (Sub MG) Medals and his Honorable Discharge.

 

Mr. Hatter was a self employed landlord based out of his home office in Halfmoon.

 

Devoted father of Christopher Maurice, Eric John, Jeffrey Scott, the late Herbert Timothy and the late Michael Adrin Hatter, cherished grandfather of Ashley Ann Hatter, Rebecca Hatter Roninson, Elizabeth Joy, Christopher Maurice, II, Jeffrey Scott, II and Timothy Joseph Hatter, also survived by great grandchildren and servel anice sn and phews.

 

The Hatter family would like to invite you to join them in celebrating Herbert’s life

on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 118 Clamsteam Rd., Halfmoon, NY 12065, “by the pond, from 2:00 p.m. until the close of business.”

 

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted by the family to the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 RT-9, Clifton Park, NY 12065.
