Obituary of Doris Elizabeth Kirchner

Doris Elizabethe Paine Kirchner, 94, of Niskayuna went home to be with the Lord on July 7, 2024. 

Born in Woodbury, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Doris Allen Paine. She was raised and educated in Woodbury and then attended Bates College in Maine, followed by Cornell University where she met Paul Kirchner. They married in 1951 and enjoyed 73 years together. They were blessed with four children.

Doris is survived by her husband Paul and her children Eric Kirchner (Gail), Susan Gustafson (Jeff), Rebekah Renaud (Mike) and Karen Kirchner. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, two brothers: Andrew and Charles Paine, and their families.

Doris’ service will be private at the convenience of the family.
