Obituary of June Work Locke

June Work Locke, 83, of Danbury Dr. in Ballston Lake, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at her home with her daughter by her side. She was born on August 26, 1940 in Lynn, Mass. and was the daughter of the late William and Dorothy Nash Work. She was the wife of the late Frank G. Locke who died on July 1, 2022. June was a housewife and homemaker. She enjoyed and was an avid knitter. She and her late husband, Frank, loved to winter in Las Vegas, NV. Most important to June was the time spent with her family and visiting with her granddaughter Jennifer.

She is the devoted mother of Barbara Slate-Paruolo of Raleigh, NC and Sandra (Steve) Farr of Ballston Lake with whom she resided and the late Nancy Ann Slate; dear sister of William (Jennie) Work; grandmother of Jennifer Paruolo of Raleigh, NC; aunt of Wesley (Jake) Gibson, Grace Work and Esther (Tre) Johnson.  She is also survived by her former husband, Thomas Slate.

Graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at 2:00 pm in the Jonesville Cemetery, Clifton Park, NY.
