Obituary of Mahendra C. Patel

Mahendra C. Patel, 78, of N. Greenbush passed away peacefully on Monday May 27, 2024 at St. Mary's Health Care in Amsterdam.  He was born in Gujharat, India on Dec. 24, 1945.  Mahendra was the son of the late Chandulal and Ruxmani Patel.  He was educagted in the India School system.  Mahendra was the beloved husband of Renuka Patel whom he married on Jan. 24, 1969.    He came to the United States for the first time in Nov. of 1990.  He was a member of Albany Hindu Temple.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Swetal Patel and his daughter Chaula Patel; brother of Dinaben and Gitaben and the late Kusumben and Madhuben; grandfather of Nolan, Arjun, Sunay and Nilay; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Hindu Ritual will be held on Friday at 12 noon in the Gardner Earl Memorial Chapel, 186 Oakwood Avenue Troy, NY 12182
