Obituary of Matthew B. Sherman Hart

Matthew B. “Matt” Sherman Hart, of Lansingburgh, unexpectedly passed away on Friday, January 5, 2024.

Born and educated in Troy, New York, he is the son of Sandra J. (Boisclair) Hart and the late Frederick W. Hart and Grandson of the late Winifred and Armond Boisclair. Brother of Mark Sherman and Katie Hart.  Loving Uncle to Kayla and Jenna Sherman, and Sullivan, Simon and Silas Doorey. Special friends who will never be forgotten; Lisa, Stacy, Jaime, Dave, Miguel and Cesar.

Matt was a self-employed roofer/contractor.

He enjoyed swimming, snowmobiling, boating, and Bingo with his mother.

Friends are invited to calling hours on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and to the Celebration of Life Ceremony where reflections can be shared beginning at 6:30 p.m. that evening both at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue (at the corner of Fourth Avenue and 115thStreet in Lansingburgh), Troy, NY 12182.

Those desiring, may make memorial contributions to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, in memory of Matthew Sherman and his beloved dog Duke.
