I am so grateful to have known Shirley through the SUMC church family. Shirley was loving, kind. and generous. She took the time to say hello and ask about my family. It was always a blessing and a comfort to be at an activity and see Shirley in the room. My heartfelt sympathy to Carl and family.

My deepest sympathies to all of the VanTine family. Shirley was a wonderful lady with multiple talents. I always enjoyed talking with her, and we sometimes shared memories of both being native Pittsburghers. Her work in the church was extraordinary. I know how many hours put in created the database of all the membership. She will be sorely missed. Blessings to you all.

Nana was a great Mother-in-law to me and accepted me into her family. It was amazing to watch the love between her and her daughter Melanie, two best friends! We will miss you so much, but rejoice that you are now with your daughters. Love- The Stevensons (Greg, Jim, and Willy)
