Obituary of Scott M. Lynch

Scott M. Lynch, 52, of Lansingburgh, devoted husband of Christie L. Jones-Lynch, peacefully entered into eternal life surrounded by his family on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at Saratoga Hospital in Saratoga Springs, NY.

Born in Troy, NY, Scott is the beloved son of Ann M. Bellard Lynch and the late John J. “Leo” Lynch, Jr. Scott was educated in the Lansingburgh schools.

Scott was a Mechanic with the City of Troy, Department of Public Works and had previously been employed at Helmbold’s in Troy for 17 years. .

He enjoyed classic cars, especially his ’70 Chevelle and ’73 Nova. Above everything, Scott loved his family most.

Beloved son of Ann, devoted husband of Christie, dear brother of “Leo” John L. (Linda) Lynch, III and the late Jayne (her husband, Tim) Rule, cherished uncle of  Katie Lynch, John L. “JJ” Lynch IV and Hanna Rule, also survived his best friend David Searles and his fur babies Steve, Mandy & Malia.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather to Celebrate the Life of Scott M. Lynch on Sunday, July 23, 2023 beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the Hemstreet Park Firehouse, 137 S. Linden Street, Mechanicville, NY 12118, where at 4:00 p.m. the Rite of Christian Funeral Service will be offered.

Scott’s family would like to express their most sincere gratitude to the 3^rd Floor nurses at Saratoga Hospital for their wonderful care provided to Scott as well as to his family.
