I remember Gladys fondly-we worked in the same "Unit" at the NYS Dept. of Labor - my first workplace. I've thought of her many times throughout the years - hoping that she had a happy life. She kept us smiling, for sure. So sorry for your loss.

My Condolence to Gladys’s family. I too lost my Mom Anne Mroczkowski on 12/22/22. She passed on her birthday. When I read the passing of your Mom. She immediately came to my mind. I remember meeting your Mom and I believe my Mom worked with her at the State. I remember how my Mom loved her and I could still hear her infectious smile and laugh. I know they are both reunited and I’m sure they are catching up on stories of their kids.

Q: What was one of your favorite qualities of Gladys?
A: I will always remember her beautiful friendship with my mom, my shopping friend and all her open houses on Christmas Eve. As a young child, my parents would take us there and we would always have a great time. In fact, whenever I was with Gladys, I always had a fun time filled with smiles and laughter.
