Obituary of Barbara A. Chiplock

Barbara A. Chiplock, 78, of Halfmoon, passed peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, October 3, 2022.

 

Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late John and Patricia Dana Kirchner, Jr. and was a graduate of Mercy High School, Class of 1962.

 

Mrs. Chiplock retired from the New York State Workers Compensation Board in Menands where she had been a Court Reporter. She also served as a freelance Court Reporter.

 

Barbara admired her grandchildren, was classy, generous, kind and a beautiful person both inside and out. To know her was to love her. She had been a communicant of St. Mary’s Church, Crescent.

 

Beloved wife of Thomas S. Chiplock, devoted mother of Joseph Chiplock (Ron Goldberg), Lori Pipino (Dennis) and Tracey Gavin (Tom), dear sister of Patricia Meyer (late, Walter), Joseph Kirchner (Vicki), the late Margaret Badman and the late John Kirchner, III, cherished grandmother of Jessica Silva (Andrew) and Sara Pipino, adored great grandmother of Elliana Grace Silva, also survived by several nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral service will be held on Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. at the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 RT-9, Clifton Park, NY 12065.

 

Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

 

Interment will be held in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.
