Elma Dickinson Lovelock, 93, of Clifton Park passed away peacefully September. 28, 2022 after a brief illness.

Born on June 10, 1929 to Clarence and Emma Dickinson, her youth was happily spent in Tuxedo Park, enjoying her friends, her family, singing in choir, and the beauty of her hometown. She was predeceased by her brother Clarence.

Elma was the loving wife of William C. Lovelock for 65 years until his passing in 2017. A resident of Clifton Park since 1965, she was employed for many years at Shenendehowa High School, working with the athletic department, and always feeling like the students she knew were like an extended part of her family.

Elma is survived by her children, Robin of Fairport, NY, Karen (Gregg Mayer) of Hingham, MA, Scott of Vienna, VA, and Colin (Susan) of Niskayuna, NY. She was the cherished grandmother (Nana) of Mark and Claire Silberg, Allison (Avery Ellsworth), Lauren (Jake Daniels), Christopher, Mina, and Gregory, and was great-Nana to Theo and Matilda Ellsworth and Nathan Daniels.

A private service will be held in the spring at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Tuxedo Park, NY.
