Obituary of Philip F. Brown
Philip F. Brown, 54, of Lansingburgh, peacefully entered into eternal life on Sunday, August 21, 2022.
Born in Albany, New York, he is the son of Mary Jo Brady Brown and the late Bruce B. Brown. Raised in Schenectady and Clifton Park,
Philip was a graduate of Shenendehowa High School and Hudson Valley Community College.
Philip was a dedicated Client Care Provider having been employed by the Warren Washington Albany ARC in Queensbury.
He enjoyed cars, attending car shows, working on his car and watching movies of which he had a large collection that he enjoyed with his children. He will be remembered for his tie-dyed shirts, cowboy boots, ten-gallon hats and for taking care of his car. Philip was a communicant of St. Augustine’s Church in Lansingburgh.
In addition to being survived by his mother Mary Jo, he is the devoted father and friend of his two dear children; Sierra Pearl Brown and Avery Bruce Brown and their mother Erica Barna Brown, loving brother of Mary Kate Hoyt Bertone (Andrew), Eric Brown and Terry Hoyt, son-in-law of Pamela Benoit Barna, also survived by his brother-in-law, sister-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to Calling Hours on Monday, August 29, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and to his Funeral Service offered that evening at 6:00 p.m. both at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Ave (at the corner of 115th Street in Lansingburgh) Troy, NY 12182.
You are also welcome to join us in Philip’s funeral procession on Wednesday morning which will depart from the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. to process to the burial in St. Agnes Cemetery in Menands, where at 11:00 a.m. the Rite of Committal will be offered.
Philip’s family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to all of his friends and family who have supported him over the past several months.
