To Carol and the Mahoney Family,
I am so sorry for the loss of your husband and father Tom Mahoney. Tom was such nice and kind man who always had a smile on his face everytime I saw him and someone saw him. I remember seeing Tom at Our Lady of Victory Church for Christmas Eve Mass and one time at the Saturday 4:00 pm Mass also at some of the Olv Church Dinners. Tom you will be missed by all at Olv and everyone who knew you. R.I.P Tom until we meet again.

As next door neighbor had lots of contact with Tom but I was older and off to college when he and Carole moved in. I can remember as a grammar schooler talking with him when he worked at Tick’s wearing an apron over his LaSalle uniform. I drove a Datsun 240Z when I moved back to Westlane Road. Hatchback broke and he welded it back together. A really nice man who was great for his family and for the neighborhood. Best to his family, remember all the good stuff!

Dear Carol and family,
Mr. Sgarlata’s grandson is now at peace. All the Sycaway families like the Evers, Mahoneys and Kennedys knew Tom when we shopped for fresh produce. He was as kind and friendly then as he was his whole life. Carol, the two of you together were such a special couple. May your good memories help sustain you and your children through this terrific loss. Please know my thoughts and prayers are quietly with you.
Fondly,
Kathleen Kennedy

Carol and family: You are in my thoughts and prayers. Words can not express my feelings on the passing of one of the finest
men who was part of my life, both when I was young and these last years as the aging process began to
take its hold on us. He always brought a smile to my face and lifted my heart. He had the greatest care
giver in the world, Carol. Two wonderful persons devoted to each other since high school. Thank you Carol
and Tom for many memories and the love anBHd compassion you have shared with many, all these years.
