Obituary of Raymond Wallace

“RW”  Raymond Wallace, 73, of Troy, entered into eternal life on Monday, August 15, 2022.

Born and educated in Manning, SC, RW was the son of Smith Wallace and Robertha Hilton Wallace.

RW truly enjoyed being employed at Star & Strand Transportation and at Durham Transportation and also at Bendix.

He loved gardening, singing, cooking and was known by all for his “Uncle Mack Sauce”.

Beloved father of Tami L. Wallace, cherished grandfather of Quantaja Mack, Donaijha Mack, Chance Mack, the late Shayla K. Mack and the late Ja’Kire D. Mack, brother of Clint Rawlinson, the late, Mary Ellen Wallace York, the late, Annie Bell (Joe McCray) Ross, the late, Ethel Lee Dingle, the late Rochelle (Willie) Felder, the late, Joe Louis (Maeshell) Wallace, the late, James (Christina) Conyers, the late, John (late, Patsy) Wallace and the late, Spencer (late, Minister Mary) Wallace, also survived by a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 22, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and the Home Going Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Ave (corner of 115^th Street and Fourth Avenue in Lansingburgh) Troy, NY 12182.

Interment will be held in Oakwood Cemetery, Troy.
