Obituary of John Berger

John Berger, 90, beloved husband of 65 years of Dorothy Ann Buckley Berger of Brunswick, passed away on March 2, 2017. Born in Lynn, MA, he was the son of the late Elmer Henry and Mary Madeline Curran Berger and was a graduate of Peabody High School in Peabody, MA and Georgetown University in Washington, DC, where he earned his BS in Pre-Law. Mr. Berger served in the U.S. Navy from 1943 to 1954 and was awarded the World War II Victory Medal and the American Theater Medal. He had been employed at Dick's Glass in Schenectady as a Sales Associate. Beloved husband of Dorothy Ann Buckley Berger of Brunswick, devoted father of Thomas Buckley Berger of Florence, CO and Mary Katherine Berger of Colonie, NY, also survived by 2 grandchildren. In keeping with Mr. Berger's wishes, there will be no calling hours or public services. Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted by the family to the John J.
