Obituary of Donald W. Reyes

Donald W. Reyes of Lansingburgh, unexpectedly took ill on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 two days prior to his 52^nd birthday and entered into eternal life at his residence.

Born in Troy, Donald is the beloved son of Marilyn L. Ayotte Reyes of Lansingburgh and the late William Reyes. He was a graduate of Troy High School.

Don was a longtime member of UA Local 7 Plumbers & Steamfitters in Latham employed with at John W. Danforth Co. Mechanical Contractor.

Don was the proud father of Evan and loved spending time together with him. He enjoyed riding his HarleyDavidson with his brothers and friends. He also enjoyed gardening, snowmobiling, skiing with Evan and walking his faithful canine companion, Luna. He loved people and had a personality which attracted everyone.

In addition to his beloved mother Marilyn, he is the cherished father of his 14 year old son Evan Reyes, devoted brother of William “Andre” Reyes, Tony “Tito” (Kim) Reyes, Marguerita Culliton (John) and Carlos Reyes (Katherine), also survived by several nieces and nephews, Casey, Billy, Kayla, Carlos Jr. (godson), Ashley, Alexa, Karley, Andriana, Samantha, Ayden, aunts, uncles, and his best friend Luna (dog).

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Augustine’s Church,

25-115^th Street in Lansingburgh.

Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue (Corner of 115^th Street in Lansingburgh) Troy, NY 12182 on Monday July 18, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Interment will be held in Oakwood Cemetery, Troy.

Those desiring, may make memorial contributions for the benefit Donald’s son Evan at any CAPCOM  branch, in memory of Donald W. Reyes.
