Obituary of Michael H. Fogarty

Michael “Boo” H. Fogarty, 64 of Rt. 150 in West Sand Lake, and former Speigletown resident, died on Friday June 10, 2022 at his sister’s residence in Speigletown.  He was born in Troy on May 30, 1958 and was the son of the late J. Gerald and Joan Dufort Fogarty.  Boo was educated in the Lansingburgh School system and had been a diesel mechanic, truck driver and body shop repairman for over 35 years.  Mike left behind many friends and family on whom he has left a lasting impression.  He will live on in all of our hearts.

 

He is the devoted brother of Patricia (Robert) Harrington, John (Charlene) Fogarty, William (Kathy) Fogarty, Kevin (Lisa) Fogarty and Anne (Bill) Kramek, all of Speigletown; nephew of Joseph Fogarty of Loudonville.  He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

 

Calling hours will be from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, June 13, in the White-Sanvidge Funeral Home, 58 Leversee Rd. (RT-40 in Speiglegtown) Troy, NY 12182.

 

Interment will be private for the family on Tuesday in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Waterford, NY.

 

The family wishes to thank NYOH of Albany and Community Hospice for the wonderful care given to Mike during his illness.
