Obituary of Heidi Kathleen Schoenthaler

Heidi Gifford Schoenthaler, 54, of Clifton Park was lost from her loving family on Wednesday May 25, 2022 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. She was born on December 20, 1967 in Clifton Springs, NY to Jean Frederich Gifford of Clifton Springs, NY and the late Gerald Gifford. Heidi was a graduate of Finger Lakes Community College where she earned her degree as a Registered Nurse. She worked as the school nurse for the Shenendehowa Central School District at Arongen Elementary School for fifteen years, where she made many wonderful and loving friends. Heidi’s greatest joys were cooking, baking, and spending time with all of her loved ones near and far.

Holding her memory still are her loving husband David Schoenthaler, daughter Alyssa Schoenthaler, and son Christopher Schoenthaler of Clifton Park. She is loved and remembered by her siblings Kristin (Andy) Reinhardt, Erik (Christina) Gifford and Katrina (Dana) Egburtson; her Mother-in-law Alice Schoenthaler, Brother-in-lawTom (Sue) Schoenthaler; and by her many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial service will be held at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Clifton Springs, NY at a time to be determined by the family.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, to the American Heart Association, or to one’s nearest food pantry and shelter wherever love is needed.
