Obituary of Rosa H. Cora

Rosa H. Cora, 47 of Troy, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at Tufts Medical Center Hospital in Boston, MA.

Born in Guayama, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Dionicio Cora and Luz Velazquez.

Rosa was a dedicated mother and grandmother and loved being together with her family.

Beloved mother of Rizavette Perez, Carmen Usera, Anaya Logan, Amante Berry and Bryanna Berry, loving sister of Lissette Casillas, Amarilis Cora, Wilma Cora and Carolyn Santiago, cherished grandmother of Iyanna, David and Myla Francis, Isaiah Usera, Isabella and Elijah Gordon, Jr., also survived by her loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue ( at the corner of 115^th Street in Lansingburgh), Troy, New York 12182 followed by her Mass of Christian Burial that morning at 11:00 a.m. at St. Augustine’s Church in Lansingburgh.

Interment will be held in Oakwood Cemetery in Troy.
