Obituary of Edward A. Kislowski
Edward A. Kislowski, 80, of Broadalbin and St. Cloud, FL passed away on Tuesday March 15, 2022 at Saratoga Hospital after a valiant battle with cancer. He was born on August 19, 1941 in Schenectady and was the son of the late Edward and June Golden Kislowski. He was a graduate of the former Draper High School where he excelled in football and wrestling. Ed was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Ed retired as a truck driver for UPS in Latham. He was a member of Teamsters Local 294. Ed always enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing or hunting, playing Yahtzee, and of course any time he could spend at the “Casino”. He loved the "Lake Life" and was blessed to call the Great Sacandaga his home for many years.
He is survived by his beloved bride of 54 years, Nancy Jorgensen Kislowski. In addition, he is the devoted father of David (Shelley) Kislowski of Glenville and Steven (Tracy) Kislowski of Ballston Spa; grandfather of Joshua, Scott (Karen), Brianna, Alyssa, Jacob, Justin, and Nick, and great grandfather of Dylan, Makenzie, Ryan and Maverick as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-5 pm in the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9 Clifton Park, NY 12065.
Funeral service will be at 3:00 pm Sunday in the funeral home.
Entombment with full military honors will be on Monday at 10:30am in the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville.
