WILLIAM D. “BD” SOUSIS, JR.

William D. “BD” Sousis, Jr., 58, of Troy, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Albany Medical Center Hospital after tragically being stricken by a motor vehicle in Troy.

Born in Troy, he was the son of the late William D. and Carol A. Bloomquist Sousis, Sr.

“BD” loved nothing more than playing video games and was extremely competitive. You could hear him yelling due to his competitiveness. He also loved playing with the kids.

Devoted brother of Delia (James Scoville) Landfear, Caran (Chris Richardson) Sousis, Carol (late Andrew) Yager, Frank (Samantha) Sousis, Charles (Allyse) Sousis, Brian (Dana) Sousis, William (Candace) Sousis and Leo (Denise) Sousis, also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Calling hours with a funeral service will be held on Monday, November 8, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue (corner of 115th Street in Lansingburgh) Troy, New York 12182 and will then continue at 5:00 p.m. at the Cohoes American Legion, 93 Oneida St. in Cohoes.
