Olive C. Loubier, 81 of Waterford, beloved wife of the late Norman R. Loubier, Sr., peacefully entered into eternal life on Monday, August 2, 2021. She is the sister of Doug Sargent, Marvin Sargent, Ronald Sargent, Larry Sargent the late Jackie Fake.

 

Mrs. Loubier retired from the Shenendehowa Central School District in Clifton Park where she had been employed for over 20 years.

 

Olive enjoyed bowling and liked Bingo. She loved camping, country music and spent many winters in Florida. Olive was known as “Nana” or “Mom” to many children. Nana nurtured the neighborhood kids as her own.

 

She is the devoted mother of Norman R. (Kimberly) Loubier of Schaghticoke and the late Tanya (Marr, husband Randy Marr, of Pittstown) and Christine Burmaster, cherished grandmother of Kevin Loubier, Diana (Chris Ward) Loubier, Cheryl Marr, Shane (Stevie Greenwood) Marr, John (Rachel) Marr, adored great grandmother of Austin Loubier, Averi VanDusen, Marques Allen, Naomi Marr, Jackson Marr, Declan Marr, Logan Marr, Desire Marr, Conner Marr, Emma Marr and Wyatt Marr. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

 

Calling hours will be held on Monday, August 9, 2021 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 RT-9 Clifton Park, New York 12065.

 

Private family Interment will be held at Clifton Park Village Cemetery.
