Sister Kathleen was my favorite teacher of all time!
A couple of things I remember about her;
1- Playing baseball with us 6th graders and taking her bats right along with us
in the school's back yard
I'll always remember her being at bat in her habit.
2- I was a kind of a hellion in school and she caught me throwing spitballs.
Sister Kathleen made me stay after school, wad up a hundred spitballs, scatter
them all over the classroom then pick them up and count them to make sure I had
every one of them.
I never threw another spitball again in my entire life!
Sister Kathleen was not only a marverlous teacher with a great sense of humor
she was truly a treasure!
