I'm sorry to hear of Sister's passing. Though we never met in person, I credit her for kick-starting my interest in family history. She had reached out to members of my family for genealogy information over two decades ago and she had a treasure-trove of information about the Robinson-Duffy families of Milwaukee. Her grandmother, Anna Marie (Robinson) Hager, and my grandmother, Helene Marie (Robinson) Hawkins, were sisters. My condolences to Susan's family and all of the members of her CSJ community.

I am so sorry to hear of Sue's passing, She was a wonderful woman who was always so thoughtful and kind to my family. Sue was always so energetic and happy, whenever I would see her at family gatherings, she would always take the time to talk with me and give encouragement. I'm sure she is with all of our family members now, and is being rewarded for all of her good works. She will be sadly missed.

Dear O’Connor family,
Your loss is felt by many in the Albany community who cherished Sister Sue and the gifts she bestowed on all. Her love and devotion to God, family and her community will live on. May you be comforted by the memories you shared and in knowing she gave to joy and hope to so many.

This was my sweet, sweet, Aunt Sue. She was such a light to every single person she met. She was such a steady source of encouragement and prayer to our entire extended family. There wasn't one thing (good or bad) that happened in each of our lives that wasn't absolutely covered in prayer by all of the Sisters of St. Joseph; and it was all at the heralding of our Aunt Sue. As a child, I would visit & stay at the convent with Aunt Sue in the summer and always felt as though I had THIRTY Aunts that loved me; not just one. Her family of Sisters were very close as was our family and we will all miss her presence FAR beyond our words can ever express.
Aunt Sue lived her entire life in anticipation of sitting at the feet of her Savior...
OUR Savior.
And now...
She is.

Sister Susan was a founding member and spiritual adviser to the Maranatha Prayer Group in Latham for the past 40 years. The prayer group was enriched by her faith and loving care. She was the first person to visit you or call you if you were in need of comfort. She will be forever loved and missed.
