Shantaben Raghubhai Desai, 72, of Brandywine Park Way died on Monday Jan. 9, 2017 at St . Peter’s Hospital in Albany. She was born in Bhadresar, India and came to the United States in Dec. of 2001. Shantaben was the wife of Raghubhai M. Desai; mother of Arun Desai, Vipul Desai and Rohit Desai; sister of Lalji, Raji, Dalji, Keshu, Jitiben and Kuvarben; also survived by 4 granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held Wednesday at 11:00 am in the Gardner Earl Memorial Chapel at Oakwood Cemetery, 186 Oakwood Ave. in Troy, NY 12180.
Her ashes will go back to India on Thursday.
