LARRY L. STURGELL, former longtime Troy, NY resident died on Aug. 10, 2020 in CA. He was born on Dec. 13, 1954 in Rensselaer, IN. Predeceased by his parents, Meda Sturgell Mellen and James Sturgell, 2 brothers, Thomas and Charles Mellen.
Survived by his son Christian Sturgell and daughter Gina Pfenning; 2 grandsons; his brothers James (Cathy) Sturgell, Dale (Vicki) Sturgell, Rhett Sturgell and Robert (Linda) Mellen; 2 sisters Charlene Fine and Janie Sturgell and his aunt Mary Lou McCarty; also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services were private at the convenience of the family.
