Obituary of Susan T. Lattimore

Susan T. Burdick Lattimore, 59, of Cohoes, beloved wife of Kenneth M. Lattimore, peacefully entered into eternal life on Tuesday, August 18, 2020.
Born in Troy, New York, Susan was the first child of the late Robert A. and Carolyn A. Morine Burdick and was a graduate of Lansingburgh High School, Class of 1979 and Hudson Valley Community College where she earned her Associates Degree in Business returning to school while in her forties after raising two children.
Susan was an Executive Assistant with the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets and had previously held positions with the New York State Governor’s Office, New York State Senate and Heritage Trails – New York State Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation. She had also previously been employed in the tourism industry.
Susan truly loved vacationing, her kids and her grandchildren who affectionately called her “Grammy”.
Beloved wife of Kenneth, devoted mother of Christopher (Alexa) Jura and Jenna (Matt) Graber who are survived by their father Sam (Dee-Dee) Jura, sister of Wendy (Charles) Ragosta and Robert (Kathryn) Burdick, cherished “Grammy” to Luke and Lucy Jura and Jacob and Amelia Graber, daughter-in-law of Don and Bonny Lattimore, also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and their families and her loving canine companion; Buddy.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue (at the corner of 115th Street in Lansingburgh), Troy, NY 12182 on Monday, August 24, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Per current guidelines, anyone attending must wear a facial covering (mask) and adhere to the six foot social distancing rules both inside and outside of the funeral home where there are capacity limitations. Hand sanitizer will be available at the funeral home.
Susan’s family would like to express their sincere appreciation and deepest gratitude for the loving care provided from the nursing staff at Samaritan Hospital as well as the Eddy Visiting Nurses.
Those desiring, may make memorial contributions to the Eddy Visiting Nurse Assn., 433 River St., Third Floor, Troy, NY 12180, in memory of Susan T. Lattimore.
