Deanna J. Nunez, 27, of Regal Oaks passed away on Friday Dec. 1, 2023 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady.  She was born on Jan. 6, 1996 in Niskayuna and was the daughter of Fabian Patricio and Luz Angelica Colon Nuñez.  Deanna was a graduate of Shenendehowa High School, class of 2014, where she was part of sound crew for drama club. She attended UAlbany for both her BS and MS in Computer and Data Science.  She had been a data analyst for Onsemi in Poughkeepsie and earlier Global Foundry in Malta.  Deanna loved reading fantasy, listening to music, and attending concerts and musicals.  She also enjoyed sky diving and dogs, especially her loving companion Chloe. 

 

She is the beloved daughter of Fabian and Luz; dear sister of Christina Denise Nunez of Chicago, IL; cherished granddaughter of Juan Colon and Rosa Delvalle, Ines Cardona and the late Gaspar Cardona; and also survived by 17 cousins and countless friends.

 

A celebration of her life will take place on her birthday, Jan. 6, 2024 at 10:00 AM in the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9 Clifton Park, NY  12065.
