
Obituary of Everett R. Ramsey
Everett R. Ramsey, 86, of Halfmoon, beloved husband for 63 years to Teresa Mannarino Ramsey, peacefully entered into eternal life on Sunday, February 1, 2026 at Saratoga Hospital.
Born in Whitestone, NY, he was the son of the late Everett S. and Claire Hulick Ramsey, Sr. Everett was a graduate of Bayside High School and completed his education at the City University of New York. He served in the U.S. Army from 1960 to 1962 and
received the Good Conduct Medal as well as his Honorable Discharge.
Mr. Ramsey retired in 2002 from the NYS Power Authority in White Plains, NY, where he was a Civil Engineer for twenty years.
His hobbies and interests included a love of history, reading, coins, and stamp collecting. He enjoyed coaching Little League Baseball and was a devout fan of the NY Giants. His true passion was spending time with his family.
Beloved husband to Teresa, devoted father of Stephen (Amy) Ramsey, Loriann (David) Kondracki, and Robert D. Ramsey, cherished grandfather to Andrew and Elisabeth Ramsey, Alyssa and Brianna Kondracki and Olivia Ramsey.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 RT-9, Clifton Park, NY 12065 on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 from 5 to 7 p.m. where at 6:00 p.m. his Funeral Service will be celebrated.
Interment with military honors will be held Thursday morning at 9:00 a.m. at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd., Schuylerville, NY 12871. Those attending, are asked to gather inside the entrance to the cemetery between 8:40 and 8:55 a.m., at the latest.
The Ramsey family would like to express their most sincere gratitude to the staff at Saratoga Hospital for their unwavering support and compassionate care for Everett.
