William G. “Bill” Marley, 92, beloved husband of the late Doris Emily Marley (née Hofgesang), peacefully passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at Baptist Health Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Scotia.

Born in Orange, NJ he was the son of the late William and Esther Marley (née Sundell) and was a graduate of Montclair High School.

Mr. Marley retired from Prudential Insurance Co. in Roseland, NJ where he had been Data Processing Manager.

He enjoyed bowling, skiing, shopping, eating out, and he especially loved celebrating holidays and milestones with family. Bill and Doris enjoyed vacationing at beaches along the East Coast. The New Jersey shore was a longtime favorite destination for them and their extended family.

Devoted father of Diane Cynthia (Matthew) Kaylor and William D. (DeborahAnne) Marley, cherished grandfather to Matthew (Shauna), Marley, Peter, and Andrew, and the adored great-grandfather of Theodore and Lucille.

Relatives and friends are invited to the graveside service with military honors on Monday December 15, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Restland Memorial Park, 77 Deforest Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted by the family to the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 RT-9, Clifton Park, NY 12065.
