Obituary of Eileen M. Landers

Eileen M. Driscoll Landers, 84, of Clifton Park and formerly of Queens, peacefully entered into eternal life with her loving husband by her side on Wednesday, November 26, 2025.

 

Born in Manhattan, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Kathleen Langford Driscoll. She graduated from Holy Cross High School in Manhattan and then from Mercy College in Westchester where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree.

 

Mrs. Landers was a dedicated teacher employed by the Diocese of Brooklyn at St. Rita School in Brooklyn for over 30 years. Eileen was also a trained professional screen actress having appeared in many films, live theater, television shows, commercials and could be heard in music background in a number of performances, recitals and concerts.

 

She was a member of the “SAG” Screen Actors Guild.

 

Beloved wife for 49 years to John J. Landers, loving sister of Catherine Kelly, Mary Carter and Michael Driscoll, also survived by several nieces and nephews.

 

Relatives and friends are invited to Calling Hours on Saturday, November 29, 2025 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 RT-9, Clifton Park, NY 12065

 

Interment will be held in St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, LI, NY.

 

In lieu of flowers, it is desired that a memorial contribution be made to a Food Bank of your choice, in memory of Eileen M. Landers.
