Obituary of Marianne Gleason

Marianne Georgia Gleason, 78, of Halfmoon, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 17, 2025.

Born in Ithaca, NY, she was the daughter of the late Willard and Evelyn Stewart Georgia.

Marianne had been employed as Property Manager at Twin Lakes Apartments in Halfmoon.

Marianne loved dogs and welcomed several rescue dogs into her home. She was also very good at landscaping her home, a trait her father gave her over the years. Her natural golden hair and beautiful smile was adored by all who met her.

Survivors include her beloved husband John Gleason, daughter Joli Chamberlain, son-in-law Jeff Chamberlain, son Todd Tillinghast, grandson Doug Chamberlain, Granddaughter Emily Wilson and sister Abbye Walden.

Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Route 9, Clifton Park, NY 12065.
