Obituary of Linda E. Duncan

Linda E. Duncan, 60, of Brunswick, the beloved daughter of the late Leonard W. “Lenny” and the late Marilyn Ruth “Ruthy” Duncan, peacefully entered into eternal life on Thursday, July 17, 2025.

Linda was born in Troy, NY and was educated in the Brittonkill Central Schools last at Tamarac High School in Brunswick.

Linda had been employed by the Averill Park Central School District as a Bus Attendant and had been employed by Van Rensselear Manor as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Linda was a wonderful caregiver.

Linda loved and made all sorts of crafts, was an animal lover, especially of horses and loved the farm.

Loving sister to Leonard W. “Lenny” (fiancé, Rita Babie) Duncan, Jr., John R. “Jack” (Laurie) Duncan, and Todd M. (Kathy) Duncan, cherished aunt to Katherine (Ryan) Kerr, Joshua J. Duncan, Grace E. (Michael) Mancucci, Samantha R. (Garth) Geritz, Todd M. (Tessa) Duncan, Jr., Kayley E. Duncan and Ashley M. Duncan, adored great aunt to Bennett, Rylan, Rowan and Blair Duncan and to Makai Mancucci,  also survived by her Aunt Joyce Boomhower Duncan, several cousins and their families.

Family and friends are invited to Calling Hours on Friday, July 25, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon and to the Funeral Service that day at Noon at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue (at the corner of 115th Street in Lansingburgh) Troy, NY 12182.

Interment will follow in Eagle Mills Cemetery.

Those desiring, may make memorial contributions to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Avenue, Menands, NY 12204 in memory of Linda Duncan.
