Jane M. Robitaille Mercer, 65, of Cohoes, passed away at home on Tuesday, July 1, 2025.

 

Born in Troy, NY, she was the daughter of the late James K. and Bernice L. Rivenburg Robitaille, Jr. and was a graduate of Stillwater High School.

 

Jane had been employed for many years as a Pharmacy Technician at RiteAid in Cohoes.

 

She loved riding motorcycles, camping, camp-fires, nature and being in the woods, pencil coloring and her cats.

 

Beloved mother of Thomas M. “T.J.” (Nichole) Mercer of Valley Falls, loving sister of James M. “Jim” Robitaille of Hoosick Falls, and the late Joseph M. Robitaille and the late Joan M. (late Anthony C. “Tony”) Patricelli, Jr., cherished grandmother of Kylee Mercer, Chardonay Mercer and Avery Mercer, aunt of Kyle (Samantha) Robitaille,  Jenna Robitaille and Joseph Robitaille.

 

Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Monday, July 14, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue (at the corner of 115th Street in Lansingburgh) Troy, New York 12182.

 

Private burial will be held at the convenience of the family at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Troy.
