Obituary of Marie C. Bakay

Marie C. Serino Bakay, 94, formerly of Clifton Park, wife of the late Michael Bakay, Sr., passed away on March 3, 2025.

Born in Binghamton, NY, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Carmella Parrillo Serino and was a graduate of Binghamton Central High School.

Mrs. Bakay had been employed at First Assembly of God in Finance in Binghamton.

Beloved mother of Kara Lee (Kevin) Eister, Michael (Helen) Bakay, Gary (Karla Seidel) Bakay and the late Deborah (Michael) Poteran, sister of Ralph (Marilyn) Serino, also survived by her grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Visitation is on Thursday April 17, 2025 from 11 a.m. to Noon with a service at Noon at the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 RT-9, Clifton Park, NY 12065 and interment in Vischer Ferry Cemetery, Clifton Park.
