Obituary of Dorothy May Billings
Colonie - Dorothy May Billings, 76, passed from this world on July 3, 2017 with her loving family by her side. Born in Galway on July 14, 1940 she is the daughter of the late Eugene and Catherine Coon.
Dorothy completed History Degrees from HVCC and Empire State College. She worked at Ten Broeck Mansion and volunteered with the Shaker Heritage Society. She also loved her family, travelling, antiquing, garage sales, gardening and decorating her home for every holiday.
Dorothy is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, Charles Orin Billings; her daughters, Lori (David) Cucciarre and Lisa (Bob) Reepmeyer; her grandchildren, James (Robyn) Reepmeyer, Christopher Reepmeyer, Matthew Cucciarre and Daniel Cucciarre; and her great-granddaughter, Olivia Reepmeyer.
