Obituary of Mary Ann Sheils
Mary Ann Sheils, 81 of Raylinsky Ln., entered into eternal life surrounded by her family on Saturday, April 14, 2018.
Born in Buffalo, NY, she was the daughter of the late Leon Sniatecki and Frances Mazurek Sniatecki and the beloved wife of the late Ivan Sheils. She was a graduate of St. Mary's Business School.
Mary Ann retried from Adirondack Beverage Co. in Scotia where she was in charge of their accounts payable.
She loved reading, cooking, gardening, animals, bird watching, politics and was an avid dog lover as well as fan of the New York Yankees. Mary Ann had also been a member of the Clifton Park Elks Ladies Auxiliary, the Saratoga County League of Woman Voter's, served as an Election Day poll watcher and was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Crescent, where she had been a member of their Altar Rosary Society.
Devoted mother of Peggy Marquette (Steven Sboto) of Fairfax, VA, Kim Marquette of Somerville, MA and Michael Marquette (Jennifer) of Ballston Spa, NY, cherished grandma of Benjamin Sboto of Denver, CO, Matthew Sboto of Durham, NC and Jack Marquette of Ballston Spa, NY.
Funeral will be held on Thursday at 8:15 a.m. from the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 RT-9, Clifton Park, NY 12065, thence to St. Mary's Church, Crescent, 86 Church Hill Rd., Waterford, NY 12188, where at 9:00 a.m. the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Interment will be held in Jonesville Cemetery.
Those desiring, may make memorial contributions to the American Heart Assn., 4 Atrium Dr., #100, Albany, NY 12205, in memory of Mary Ann Sheils.
